A man was hospitalised with a serious facial injury after a gang of youths mugged him in Cumbernauld.
Emergency services were called to Glenhove Road around 7pm on Sarurday, December 2, after a 33-year-old man was assaulted and robbed by three young men.
The man was taken to Monklands Hospital in Airdrie for treatment of a serious face injury.
One of the suspects is described as white, around 6ft tall with red hair. He was wearing a grey tracksuit at the time of the incident.
There are no descriptions for the other two suspects.

Detective Sergeant Greig Muir said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible, and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
“If you have information that could help with our enquiries, please contact police on 101 quoting incident 1420 of December, 2 2023.”
