A supermarket was 'taped off' by cops following an 'attack and robbery'.
A police presence was spotted at Spar on Dumbarton Road in the Clydebank area on Sunday.
Reports on social media claimed the shop had police tape around it.
The force confirmed that they had been called to the store shortly before 8am on Sunday following reports of an assault and attempted robbery.
Two men, aged 34 and 36 years old, were arrested in connection with the alleged incidents.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received a report of an assault and attempted robbery at a premises on Dumbarton Road in Clydebank around 7.55am on Sunday, December 10, 2023.
“Two men, aged 34 and 36 years, have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
