TWO suspects have appeared at court accused of murdering their neighbour.
Gordon Mair, 39, and Nicola McGonigle, 37, allegedly assaulted Allan Miller, 51, at his flat in Glasgow's Baillieston on December 10, 2023.
Court papers state the pair acted with another person to strike Mr Miller on the body with a machete or a similar bladed article.
The charge says from the consequence of which Mr Miller died and that the two suspects "murdered him."
Police officers taped the surrounding area of Dyke Street around 3am on the day of the alleged incident.
Officers were seen combing the area from around 6.15am.
Mair and McGonigle, both of Baillieston, made no plea on Tuesday at a private hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
They were represented by their lawyers Ian Sievwright and Mark Allen.
The pair were remanded in custody by Sheriff Vincent Lunny pending further examination.
Both will appear in court within the next eight days.
