The owner of a West End restaurant has bid an emotional farewell after selling up just months after opening.
Bradley Potteron opened BRU on Dumbarton Road in January, his first solo venture showcasing South African cuisine.
Now, with a growing family, Mr Potteron has made the difficult decision to put the restaurant up for sale.
Mr Potteron shared a touching tribute to staff and customers on December 8 as he passed the torch to a new owner.
He wrote: "This last year of Bru has been the best but hardest of my life.
"I have loved getting to know each and every one of you and have been overwhelmed by the love and support.
"However, running Bru has come at the cost of time with my family, which has been especially hard having just welcomed a new addition.
"Having reflected on what’s important, I am passing on the keys of Bru to Ian on Monday.
"I hope you will join me in wishing him every success.
"Bru wouldn’t be here today without the hard work of the incredible staff and the support of all of you and for that- THANK YOU.
"I will be in all weekend and it would be great to see you before I move on."
We reported in September that the business was up for sale with a leasehold price of £49,500.
