A Santa grotto-themed bus arrived at a Glasgow primary school to collect donations from pupils who have done their bit to help tackle the cost of living crisis.
Organised by one of the Glasgow Times Bank on Us partners Stagecoach, the festive bus stopped at Shawlands Primary to collect the donations gathered by those at the Southside school.
In total, the full school were able to round up nearly 100 bags worth of items that will go to help families who are most in need.

The collection was in aid of the Bank on Us campaign here at the Glasgow Times which is looking to help families accessing food banks over the festive period.

Theresa Wright, headteacher at Shawlands Primary School, said that getting involved was in line with the school values and something the children enjoyed participating in.
She said: "I am absolutely thrilled with the pupils and their efforts.
"Every year when we do this the families rise to the challenge. We know that things are difficult for folks this year, but in spite of all that they have dug deep and made wonderful donations that will make Christmas for other children.
"This was really important to the school and it fits in with all our values, in particular fairness and taking responsibility for each other and the wider community.
"It is central to what we do everyday in Shawlands Primary."
Alexis Cairnie, from Stagecoach, added: "We are overwhelmed with the response that we have had this year.
"The parents and carers are very supportive of any charitable events that we do, so a big shout out to them.
"We know that what we have done today is going to help those who are more in need over the Christmas period."
