Cops revealed they are following a positive line of enquiry after a man was stabbed in Glasgow.
We previously reported that 999 services raced to a flat on Cathcart Road in the city's Southside on Saturday night.
A 44-year-old man was rushed to hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
Officers are continuing to investigate the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.25pm on Saturday, December 16, 2023, officers were called to reports of a serious assault in the Cathcart Road area of Glasgow.
“A 44-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
"Police are following a positive line of enquiry.”
