Six by Nico has announced the closure of its restaurant and three new openings.
The Finnieston location will close on January 14 before it is replaced by Sole Club the following month.
Part of a £3 million investment, Sole Club pays homage to 'The Chippie', the original idea behind the Six by Nico brand.
It will consist of a takeaway blending traditional favourites with new twists on a chippy tea, and a 22-seat speakeasy-style fish restaurant.
Meanwhile, two other ventures for the brand have been confirmed by chief executive and founder Nico Simeone.
The first is Six by Nico Merchant City, the firm's new flagship restaurant which will open at 64 Albion Street on January 15.
The official announcement of the new eatery comes after we reported that plans had been submitted to the council back in November to open the location.
As the Finnieston venue is closing the day before, all existing bookings will be transferred to the new Merchant City spot so diners can continue to enjoy the experience they know and love but in new surroundings.
Finally, the company will bring a new cocktail-tasting experience to Glasgow's West End with the introduction of Somewhere by Nico.
Opening at 358 Byres Road in February 2024, the bar aims to bring customers an innovative experience with six-stage cocktail tastings, themes and storytelling, and sensory mixology.
It is thought to be the first cocktail experience in Scotland to be accompanied by paired dishes.
The openings are described as a 'watershed' moment for Glasgow's food and drink scene, as Six by Nico is moving into a 'new phase with a new look'.
Nico Simeone said: “Our team is driven daily by the challenge to constantly create and reinvent. We are dedicated to being different, never resting on our laurels, and continuously striving to create the best customer experiences.
"Marking our six-year journey with such a significant evolution of experiences in our home town and reaffirming our commitments to the city seems like the best way to celebrate the next stage in our company vision."
