Cops are probing the sudden death of a man in Glasgow.
We previously reported that emergency services attended an incident on Buccleuch Street in the city centre at around 8.20am today.
It can now be confirmed that a man was found dead.
The death is being treated as unexplained but is not thought to be suspicious.
Officers said enquiries are ongoing and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal in due course.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.20am on Wednesday, December 20, officers were called to Buccleuch Street, Glasgow, following the sudden death of a man.
"The death is being treated as unexplained but is not thought to be suspicious. Enquiries are ongoing.
"A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal in due course."
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson added: "We received a call today at 8.16am to attend an incident on Buccleuch Street in Glasgow.
"We dispatched a rapid response unit and one ambulance to the scene."
