The Clyde Tunnel in Glasgow will fully close Southbound tonight due to emergency maintenance.
Motorists have been advised to expect delays as traffic is restricted to one lane this afternoon at the tunnel.
Then, from 8pm tonight until midnight, the road will be shut fully to allow engineers to work on the site.

Drivers are asked to take care in the area and follow local diversions via the contraflow of the Northbound bore.
High traffic is to be anticipated near the tunnel, especially during busy periods.
