Vacant land will not be turned into a car park after council officials rejected the plan.
As the Glasgow Times reported in November, Cyber Risk and Privacy Practice bidded to create a private car park on the land at the rear of 24-26 Tassie Street and 53-63 Trefoil Avenue in Shawlands.
It would have connected to the residential premises on Trefoil Avenue.
However, this week, the proposal was thrown out.
Among others, the committee members stated that the plan would result in the "loss of grassland and woodland habitat, resulting in an unacceptable impact on the natural environment on the site and the local area".

This comes after 42 objections were submitted online, from those living nearby.
The area is currently not accessible to the public and is gated off.
