The winners of the North Lanarkshire Christmas card competition have been announced after an "exceptional" standard of entries.
Hundreds of pupils from across the area took part in the competition which is run every year by the local authority.
The winners were announced at a special event held at St Brendan’s Primary School in Motherwell.

The entries by the pupils were of high standard according to North Lanarkshire Council Provost Kenneth Duffy who praised the student's efforts.
He said: “The standard was exceptional and choosing a winner certainly wasn’t easy.
“The pupils have brought their artistic talents to bring a splash of colour to our Christmas cards, which are sent across the country and some internationally.”
The following pupils were chosen by the Provost, Depute Provost, Leader and Depute Leader as the winning designs:
