The ladies held a raffle, charity fundraising day, and received donations from local businesses.
The charity day also featured a bottle stall, jewellery stall, home baking and a ‘guess the weight of the cake’ competition.
Louise Macleod, community, event and corporate fundraiser at Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, received the cheque at their Christmas party, with the ladies delighted to have raised so much.
Louise said; “We are so grateful to all the ladies at Yarrow Bowling Club for choosing CHSS to benefit from their fundraising activities.
"They are real fundraising heroes.
“The funds they raise will help us to support the 1 in 5 people across the country who are living with chest, heart and stroke conditions and Long Covid to live their lives to the full.”
