Multiple Glasgow roads were closed for around four hours on Christmas Day due to an incident.
Emergency services rushed to the Gallowgate at approximately 7.10pm after three vehicles collided.
Cops confirmed a 59-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident.
Her condition is not known.
An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The road was closed in both directions, as was Bellgrove Street and Abercromby Street at the junction.
The area fully reopened at around 11.20pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.10pm on Monday, 25 December 2023, we were called to a three-car crash on Gallowgate near to Abercromby Street, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and a 59-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
