A man has been rushed to hospital following an assault in Glasgow this morning.
Cops were called to Bellrock Street in the city's Cranhill area at around 11.20am following reports of an assault.
Details of the man's injuries and current condition are unknown.
However, the force did confirm that an investigation has been launched.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.20am on Wednesday, December 27, police were called to reports of an assault on Bellrock Street, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and a 44-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
