Emergency crews rushed to a report of a sudden death in Glasgow on Hogmanay.
999 services including cops and an ambulance were seen near Easterhouse Sports Centre on Auchinlea Road in the city's East End on Sunday morning.
The force revealed they had been called to the death of a 73-year-old man.
They do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.30am on Sunday, December 31, 2023, we were called to the sudden death of a 73-year-old man in the Auchinlea Road area of Glasgow.
"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
