A pensioner was hit by a motorbike which then bolted from the scene in Glasgow.
The hit and run happened in Cardonald's Mosspark Drive between Arbroath Avenue and Tealing Avenue, around 8pm on Sunday, December 31.
The 68-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and she was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where her condition is described as serious but stable.
Police said she was crossing the road when she was struck by a grey Yamaha MT-07 that was travelling North towards Paisley Road West.
The investigation has established that the motorbike had been stolen from an address in Edinburgh and was reported to police on Friday, December 19, 2023.
Police also say the man riding the bike may have been spotted by witnesses locally on foot.

Sergeant Chris Hoggans, said: “There were a number of people in the area and we are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened, particularly if you have dash-cam footage or private CCTV that could assist with our enquiries.
“It is also vital that we trace the motorbike rider. Our investigation so far suggests he made off on foot along Tealing Avenue and onto Bucklaw Gardens so anyone in this area who saw him and where he went is also asked to get in touch.”
