The festive period has officially come to an end as the Christmas lights on George Square were taken down.
Glasgow Times photographer Gordon Terris pictured the council workers in the city centre as they removed the decorations from the City Chambers.
The Winterfest event, which welcomed guests to the square with food, drinks, rides and music, has also officially closed today.
In the pictures, the employees can be seen handling the lights that once lit up the building.
The festive market on St Enoch Square has also ended.
