A Glasgow-bound flight was forced to do an emergency landing just minutes after takeoff.
The Scottish Sun reported that the Jet2 service LS129 started its journey from Tenerife around 6pm on Wednesday, January 3.
But it was soon forced to do an emergency landing due to a "bird strike".

Reportedly, it collided with an animal in the air, alarming staff who decided to return to Sur Reina Sofía airport as a precaution.
The flight was due to touch down at Glasgow Airport around 7.30pm that night but due to the incident, it was delayed by four hours.
Following a checkup, passengers returned to Scotland without issues.
