The start date of a newly introduced ScotRail charge has been revealed.
As the Glasgow Times reported in December, the company has announced that a tariff will be applied to electric vehicle charging points across their parking network.
Today, the train operator released that the fee will start on Monday, January 8.
It will require electric car owners to pay 43p per kilowatt for charging, a rate similar to most local authorities.

ScotRail said this will help to recover the cost of operating the charging points, with no profit being made.
A fixed overstay payment of £12 per 12 hours will apply, and while this will help to discourage people from blocking access to others, customers will also be entitled to a refund if a train delay has been the cause of the overstay.
