The manhunt for a thug who hit an elderly woman while riding a stolen motorbike has intensified.
We previously reported that emergency crews were called to Mosspark Drive, Cardonald around 8pm on New Year's Eve.
A 69-year-old woman had been knocked down while crossing the road by a stolen grey Yamaha MT-07 motorbike that was travelling north towards Paisley Road West.
She was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where her condition is described as serious but stable.
The rider of the motorbike made off in the direction of Tealing Avenue and efforts by detectives to trace him have intensified.
Around 8pm on January 6, nearly a week on from the horror crash, officers from Police Scotland's motorcycle unit and Greater Glasgow's divisional violence reduction unit returned to the scene to carry out road checks.

Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: “Our investigation has established that the motorcycle was stolen and we are following several enquiries to trace the rider who made off from the scene of the crash.
“Our road checks on Saturday identified a number of potential witnesses who had not previously spoken to officers and we are continuing to appeal to anyone else with information to come forward.
“I am also appealing to the motorbike rider to do the right thing and come forward.”
Anyone with information that could assist officers is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2984 of Sunday, 31 December, 2023.
