Images of a stolen motorbike at the centre of a hit and run in Glasgow have been released by cops. 

It comes after a 69-year-old woman was struck by a stolen grey Yamaha MT-07 motorbike at around 8pm on Sunday, December 31. 

The incident occurred on Mosspark Drive, between the junctions with Arbroath Avenue and Tealing Avenue.

Her condition is described as serious but stable.

Images have now been released as the force is re-appealing for information and witnesses to the incident. 

The pictures show that the vehicle has distinctive red on the wheels.

Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: “Our investigation has established that the motorcycle was stolen and we are following a number of enquiries to trace the rider who made off from the scene of the crash.

“Our road checks on Saturday identified a number of potential witnesses who had not previously spoken to officers.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, the motorbike prior to the crash or who has any other information which could assist to come forward.

“I am also appealing to the motorbike rider to do the right thing and come forward.”
