TWO people have been rushed to hospital following a blaze at a flat in Glasgow.
999 crews say they were called to the incident on Kilvaxter Drive in the city's Southside at around 9.40pm on Monday, January 8.
In total, one ambulance, a special operations team and three fire vehicles attended the fire.
Following it, four people were checked over at the scene by ambulance crews, while two were taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 9.40pm on January 8 to attend an incident on Kilvaxter Drive, Glasgow.
"An ambulance and special operations response team (SORT) were dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital."
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 9.40pm on Monday, January 8 to reports of a fire at a flat on Kilvaxter Drive, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances to the scene where crews extinguished the flames.
“Four casualties were checked at the scene by Scottish Ambulance Service partners, with two proceeding to a nearby hospital due to slight smoke inhalation.
“Crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
