Four men with balaclavas attacked a man at a home yesterday morning.
The incident which occurred at around 10.05am on Monday, January 8, took place at Dykehead Crescent, Airdrie.
The four men who entered the property were said to be wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.
Police believe the group had the intent to rob. An investigation has been launched.
Detective Seargent Craig Jeffrey said: “Fortunately no-one was injured, and our enquiries are ongoing.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything, or who has private or dash-cam footage of the area at the time, to contact us.”
