A man and woman were attacked on a busy Glasgow street as a woman tried to steal food.
The incident took place on High Street between the hours of 6.20pm and 6.40pm on Saturday, December 30.
Cops revealed that a white Jaguar was parked on the city centre street when a woman approached the car before trying to steal food and assaulting the female passenger.
A man intervened and was also assaulted.
The attacker is described as being in her 30s, between 5ft 4in and 5ft 7in in height, of slim to average build and spoke with a Glaswegian accent.
She had blonde/red shoulder length curly hair and was wearing a cream/tan coloured jacket with a hood.
DC Natalie Timothy said: “Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this incident.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information which could assist us to get in touch.
“The area was busy at the time with vehicles and pedestrians and I would appeal to anyone who has any dash cam footage to contact us.”
