A MAN has been arrested after allegedly being caught with a knife following a disturbance in Blantyre.
Officers say the incident took place on Glasgow Road in the town at around 4.45pm on Wednesday, January 10.
Following that, the 33-year-old man was arrested and charged with offences including reportedly being in possession of a knife.
He was set to appear in court yesterday (Thursday, January 11).

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A man, 33, has been arrested and charged with offences including possession of a knife following a disturbance in Blantyre around 4.45pm on Wednesday, January 10 on Glasgow Road.
"The man was due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday, January 11."
