A Glasgow man has been branded an "idiot" by a sheriff after a cannabis discovery.
Jordan McVey, 30, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court this week after he pleaded guilty to being in possession of the class B drug.
The substance was discovered at McVey's home address in Blackhill on June 24, 2022.
It was later measured to weigh 131 grams.

At the hearing, Sheriff Allan McKay said: "If he spent that amount of money on it, frankly, he is an idiot.
"That amount of cannabis in most cases is meant for supply.
"But the Crown accepted that it was for his own personal use."
McVey was sentenced to 75 hours of unpaid work, to be completed within three months.
