Snow will fall across Glasgow today as a yellow warning is in place - but how long will it last?
A yellow warning is in place for snow and ice across Glasgow, much of Scotland, much of northern England and parts of north Wales until midnight on Tuesday.
Light snow showers began in Glasgow at around 9am on Tuesday and is expected to continue until around 11am according to the Met Office.
Midday will see snowfall ease to make way for fog which will turn into cloudy skies by 3pm.
Light snow will return this evening at around 6pm and this will get heavier from around 7pm before easing off at around 10pm.
Tomorrow, Wednesday January 17, is looking clearer with light clouds turning into sunshine by mid-afternoon.
At present, there is no snow forecast for Glasgow tomorrow but we will update if there are any changes.
