A POPULAR Glasgow seafood restaurant has announced it will be closing its doors next week.
Scamp, which is based on Renfield Street, shared the sad news on social media earlier today.
In the announcement, the eatery revealed the venue will be closing on Monday, January 22.
However, while revealing the news, they also hinted at new beginnings in the future.
In the Instagram post, they said: "Scamp is closing.
"We'll be closing our doors for the last time on January 22, but we can't wait to share our exciting future plans with you very soon."
Gutted punters flocked to the comments of the post to express their sadness about the news.
One said: "Sorry to hear this, I loved the restaurant."
Another chimed: "This is so sad. Congrats on all your success over the years."
While a third added: "Looking forward to seeing what's in the pipeline."
