A large police presence was spotted on a busy street in Glasgow city centre.
Officers raced to Union Street at around midday on Wednesday, January 17.
Multiple police vans were seen parked up outside a row of shops and dozens of cops crowded the street.
A source told the Glasgow Times there were "tonnes of polis" on the scene, while an eyewitness revealed they saw "six meat wagons and a [police] car".
The force revealed that two men, aged 18 and 24 were stopped and arrested in connection with alleged drug offences.
Cops also confirmed an investigation into the disturbance has been launched.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Two men, aged 18 and 24, have been arrested in connection with drug offences after being stopped on Union Street, Glasgow around 12.20pm on Wednesday, January 17.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
