Partick Thistle has been left devastated after a "much-loved" fan has died following an 18-month cancer battle.
Susan Watson passed away recently after being diagnosed with terminal cancer in the summer of 2022.
The "long-time" supporter of the Jags was a season ticket holder and player sponsor.
Her story began with the club when she chose to support them after falling in love with their red and yellow colours.
The "lifelong" fan also had a collection of Thistle memorabilia including Scotland caps from players of the 50s.
Paying tribute to the caring woman in a statement, the club said: "Everyone at Partick Thistle Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Susan Watson, a long-time supporter, season ticket holder and player sponsor, much loved by fellow fans.
"Susan passed away following an 18-month fight against cancer which was found to be terminal at the time of diagnosis in the summer of 2022.
"First and foremost, the thoughts of all at the club are with those closest to Susan.
"A deeply personal individual, Susan’s Firhill story began when she chose to support Thistle after falling for our red and yellow colours in her youth, which kickstarted a lifelong love of the Jags.
"Her pride and joy was her incredible collection of Thistle memorabilia, much of it gleaned from eBay over the years and including Scotland caps from players of the 50s, all in custom-built display cases.
"She was a relentless supporter of Thistle player sponsorships, providing valuable revenue to the club year after year.
"Every bit as much as that helped the club, equally it presented Susan with an ever-growing challenge to accommodate literally hundreds of strips and other items which led to her to having her own “Partick Thistle Museum” occupying an entire room of her Edinburgh home.
"The other great love in Susan’s life could be found in that very Edinburgh home, her miniature wire-haired dachshund, but even her four-legged friend had some Firhill flavour.
"For Susan’s beloved dog was christened Doolan and many a walk and much companionship did Susan and Doolan enjoy together.
"But nowhere was Susan happier than at Firhill.
"The picture which accompanies this tribute was taken by club photographer Donald Wilson and, in the words of one of Susan’s closest friends, 'captures Susan perfectly in her happy place … it is beautiful, just like Susan'.
"Partick Thistle has lost a truly brilliant supporter of the club but that’s nothing compared to the loss felt by those closest to Susan, who we again send our love, thoughts and condolences to.
"We are here to help in any way we can in the tough days, weeks and months to come.
"Rest in peace, Susan Watson, you will not be forgotten – once a Jag, always a Jag."
