A BUSY motorway near Glasgow is set to be hit with overnight lane closures this month.
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be undertaking investigation works on the M74 at Nethan Viaduct, 1km north of Lesmahagow, from Tuesday, January 23 until the morning of Thursday, January 25.
The work will be completed between 8pm and 6am each night.
The investigations will then inform future waterproofing and parapet replacement works.
To carry out the work, overnight lane closures in both directions will be in place, while there will also be an overnight closure of the junction 10 southbound on-slip between 8pm on Tuesday, January 23 and 6am on Wednesday, January 24.
