CID is still investigating a horror attack where a man was stabbed outside Asda.
We previously reported that an area outside the supermarket in Hamilton was taped off at the weekend.
A 21-year-old man had been attacked on Saturday night and officers have been probing the brutal assault since.
The force revealed that they are continuing enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024, police were called to the Mote Hill and Palace Grounds Road area of Hamilton, following the report of the serious assault of a 21-year-old man.
"The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment, and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
