A SEARCH has been launched to help trace a missing man from Coatbridge.
George Gallacher was last seen on CCTV at a bus stop on South Circular Road in the town near to the police office at around 9.50am on Tuesday, January 23.
The 31-year-old is described as being around 5ft 6inch tall, with blond hair and light-coloured facial hair.
He was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, a black baseball cap, and black trousers and trainers.
Sergeant Liam Bryson said: “George was reported missing to police this evening just after 5pm. Since then, we have been checking CCTV and that’s how he was seen at the bus stop.
"We don’t know if he got on a bus but are liaising with bus and taxi companies in case he did.
“I am appealing for anyone who may have seen him, or who has information on his whereabouts, to please get in touch.
“I would also urge George to contact someone to confirm he is safe and well.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 2516 of Tuesday, January 23.
