DRIVERS face disruption as a busy road near Glasgow is set to be hit with closures.
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be completing essential resurfacing works on the A725 southbound carriageway between the Auchinraith underpass and Priestfield Cemetery from Friday, February 9 until Monday, February 19.
Phase one of the work was carried out in December 2023.
The next phases will be carried out under two full weekend closures, one of the mainline southbound carriageway of the East Kilbride Expressway and one of the southbound on-slip road at the B7012 Main Street.
Phase two, the A725 southbound between the B7012 off-slip road and Priestfield Cemetery will be closed between 8pm on Friday, February 9 and 6am on Monday, February 12.
In phase three, the A725 southbound on slip road at B7012 Main Street will be shut from 8pm on Friday, February 16 to 6am on Monday, February 19.
Signed diversions will be in place.
