An Indian street food chain could open a new restaurant in the city centre if plans are approved.
Chaiiwala opened its first location at Glasgow Quay in 2022 serving up all-day breakfasts, roti, street bites and a variety of hot and cold chai beverages.
Now, owners have submitted plans to merge the units at 80 and 82 George Street to create a restaurant with a takeaway "similar to the existing Chaiiwala unit that exists at Springfield Quay".
The final date for comments is February 22 and a target date for the decision has been set at March 22.
