A TODDLER has been left 'shaken up' after a horror dog attack in Hamilton.
The two-year-old was in the town's bus station with his mother on Friday when she claims the animal 'growled and launched at him'.
In a post widely shared on a local community group on social media, the woman said the boy was left 'bleeding' and 'shaken up' following the shocking incident.
She also urged fellow residents to 'be cautious'.
Cops confirmed that they were made aware of the attack and they have since launched an investigation.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We received a report of a dog attack in Brandon Street, Hamilton, on Friday, January 26.
"Enquiries are at an early stage."
