Cops are treating the 'unexplained' death of an injured man as not suspicious, it has been revealed.
Officers were called to West High Street in Kirkintilloch in the early hours of Sunday morning.
They had been alerted to a report of an injured man.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
We previously reported that the discovery had resulted in a major road closure for several hours while cops carried out investigations.
The force says it is treating his death as unexplained but not suspicious.
A report is being sent to the procurator fiscal.
