A MAJOR bank is set to close a busy branch in Glasgow later this year.
Barclays on Kilmarnock Road in Shawlands will be closing down from 12pm on Friday, April 26.
The bank confirmed it will be shutting its doors in the city's Southside on its website.
A statement said: "We'll be closing this branch soon.
"We're permanently closing this branch from 12pm on Friday, April 26, 2024."
Barclays UK has been contacted for comment.
