An injured man has sparked a huge emergency response in Glasgow city centre.
Multiple police vehicles and an ambulance rushed to St Vincent Street on Tuesday morning.
The road is taped off between West Campbell Street and Wellington Street and officers are standing guard in the area.
The force confirmed that they had been made aware of a man with serious injuries on the street at around 7.40am.
No further details were given and 999 crews remain on the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a man with serious injuries on St Vincent Street in Glasgow shortly after 7.40am on Tuesday, January 30.
“Emergency services are currently at the scene.”

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 07:40 to attend an incident on St Vincent Street, Glasgow. One ambulance was dispatched to the scene.”
