A top city lunch spot has teased a new location is opening tomorrow.
Piece is a favourite among the city's lunch crowd, serving up speciality sandwiches and house roast coffee from three locations.
Now, owners have revealed their new and fourth location called Piece Downtown will be opening on February 1 on Argyle Street in the city centre.
Sharing the news on social media, a spokesperson for Piece said: "Same brilliant sandwiches, whole new location.
"We'll be opening our new space on Argyle Street, Glasgow City Centre for lunch tomorrow afternoon!"
We previously reported that Piece celebrated its 15-year milestone in July 2023.
At the time, co-owner John Moore said: “We are opening another shop later on this year, in the city centre because, as I am sure the customer will know, the queues are now so big over lunchtime that we are in danger of losing customers because the people look out and think that they will waste their time standing in line.
“So, both our city centre branches and our other two branches are at capacity for lunchtime, so we are adding another queue on.
“We are very excited about this because it has been a while since we opened a brand new shop.
“This is the first one we have done in four or five years."
