Homes left in darkness for over 12 hours after power cut (Image: PA)
HOMES have been left in darkness for several hours after a power cut in Cumbernauld.
Properties in the town's G67 4JH, G67 4JJ, and G67 4JW postcode areas have been left without electricity.
SP Energy Network has said the fault began on Wednesday, January 31, at around 5.47pm.
Currently, an estimated restore time for power in the area is yet to be confirmed.
A spokesperson for SP Energy Network said: "We are aware of a fault in your area.
"If you require more information please call us on: Central and Southern Scotland: 0800 092 9290."
