Two drivers were reported after police traced a broken-down car and a friend who came to help in Glasgow.
Road policing officers shared the details on X (formerly Twitter).
They said they arrived yesterday at a stretch the M8 motorway after reports of two men pushing a car along the hard shoulder.
The motorist was allegedly found to have no license or insurance.
A friend then arrived to help in an Audi, which allegedly had bald tyres.
They were both reported and charged.
