The second one is believed to be white, about 16-years-old with curly dark hair, about 5"7 ins tall and of a chubby build. He was wearing a light and dark grey Berghaus jacket.
Officers are asking anyone with information to reach out.
Detective Sergeant Peter Jarvis, Clydebank CID, said: “This boy was just waiting on his bus to get home, minding his own business, when the suspects attacked him and stole his phone.
“Barns Street is quite a busy road so I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, who might have seen the attack or the youths running off towards the park to get in touch.
“Officers are carrying out enquiries in the street and the park, and also checking CCTV.
“If you have any information that may help officers identify the two youths responsible, then please call police via 101 and quote incident number 4150 of Saturday, February 3, 2024. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
