A DRIVER has been reported after allegedly being caught with defective tyres in Giffnock.
Officers say they stopped the road user in the town on Thursday, February 1.
Following that, police discovered the motorist had 'inappropriate insurance cover' and 'defective tyres'.
They were reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "On Thursday, February 1, officers stopped a vehicle in the Giffnock area.
"The driver had inappropriate insurance cover and defective tyres.
"The allegation will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
