UPDATE: Traffic Scotland has said the road is now clear.
A CAR crash has sparked travel chaos on a busy motorway near Glasgow this morning.
Traffic Scotland has said an accident has taken place on the M77 between junction 5 and 4 at around 7.35am.
Due to the smash, lane two on the northbound carriageway is currently blocked.
The travel firm has said drivers can expect to face around a 20-minute delay on the road.
It is currently unknown if anyone has been injured following the accident.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
