A man appeared in court after a series of alleged crimes across Lanarkshire.
Cops were investigating two housebreakings as well as the alleged thefts of a car and plant equipment late last year.
The alleged incidents were said to have occurred between Thursday, November 23 and Friday, December 22, 2023 in the Wishaw and Holytown areas.
Officers have since arrested and charged a 38-year-old man in connection.
He was held in custody and appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A man has been arrested in connection with acquisitive crime in Lanarkshire.
"It follows an investigation into the two housebreakings, the theft of a car and plant equipment from the Holytown and Wishaw areas.
"The incidents occurred between Thursday, November 23, 2023 and Friday, December 22, 2023.
"A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incidents.
"He was held in custody and appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Tuesday, February 6, 2024."
