A DRIVER has been fined after allegedly being caught with a 'bald tyre' in Airdrie.
Officers say they stopped the road user in the town on Thursday, February 8.
After checking the motor over, cops discovered a 'bald tyre'.
Following that, the motorist was handed a £100 fine and three points.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "This appears to be a common issue Road Policing Scotland are having to highlight at the moment.
"Lanarkshire Road Policing stopped this vehicle in Airdrie this morning and upon checking the vehicle over, we discovered this bald tyre.
"Driver issued with a fixed penalty ticket for three points, £100 fine."
