UPDATE: Duke Street is now fully open.
A BUSY road in Glasgow has been closed due to an ongoing police incident.
Glasgow City Council has said Duke Street in the city's East End has been shut between Thomson Street and Sword Street.
It has been closed due to an emergency incident.
First Bus has tweeted it is shut due to a road traffic collision.
Officers were pictured on the scene as a cordon was put up at a stretch of the road.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
A spokesperson for Glasgow City Council: "Due to an ongoing Police Incident, Duke Street is currently closed in both directions between Thomson Street and Sword Street."
