A woman has been rushed to hospital after a road 'incident' in Glasgow.
Two vehicles collided on Cambuslang Road at around 10.15am on Saturday.
999 crews rushed to the scene and a 50-year-old woman was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries.
Officers charged a 34-year-old man in connection with an alleged road traffic offence.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.15am on Saturday, February 10, 2024, we were called to a report of a two-car crash on Cambuslang Road, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and a 50-year-old woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
"A 34-year-old man was charged with a road traffic offence and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
"The road was closed to allow for recovery and has now reopened."
