Cops were called to an incident where a teenage girl 'fell' on a Glasgow street.
A police presence was spotted at Scaraway Street in the city's Milton on Sunday afternoon.
Reports on local community group no1seems2care claimed they saw a 'person lying on the road'.
The force revealed that they had been alerted to the scene after a 15-year-old girl fell.
She was rushed to hospital and a probe has been launched into what caused the fall.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.25pm on Sunday, February 12, police were called after a 15-year-old girl fell on Scaraway Street, Glasgow.
“She was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children and enquiries are continuing.”
